Cultural Hiking Trail: The pinot noir walkway

The pinot noir walkway in southern South Tyrol is a new wine and cultural educational trail in the Trudner Horn Nature Park. It traverses the best Pinot Noir sites in Italy in Mazon, Glen, and Pinzon. Starting points are the villages of Auer, Montan, and Neumarkt. There is a 16 km long day tour or three half-day hikes. Along the way, you will see historical and cultural sights such as Castelfeder, the old Fleimstal railway track, the Pinzon St. Stephen's Church, the St. Michael's Church in Mazon, the Kaldiff castle ruins, and Schloss Enn. Informative panels and interactive stations explain the wine-growing region and its history. The family-friendly trail offers beautiful viewpoints and is accessible year-round.
